Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. was established by Janice Larocque in 1998, a driven and dynamic Metis woman with 18 years of experience in Human Resources and Management.  Janice's vision for an equal opportunity staffing agency was conceptualized during her eight years as manager of an employment and training centre realizing the challenges faced by industry.

 

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. is committed to providing quality service and professional staff, and our company has an excellent track record in providing cost-effective and culturally diverse employees with multilingual capabilities.  Spirit Staffing has qualified Placement Specialists who conduct intense evaluations and reference checks to ensure complete client satisfaction, and our extensive database includes experienced technical and administrative employees.  Our agency has been incredibly successful during its six-year tenure, with Spirit Staffing receiving numerous business awards. 

 

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. currently operates offices in Calgary and Edmonton and has partnerships across Canada to service national contracts.  Fast Labour Solutions was created in 2000 to provide Industrial Services including certified journeyman and skilled trades' people.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. acknowledges and respects the right to privacy regarding information collected from our employee and clients.  This Privacy Statement is to inform our clients, employees, and website visitors of our privacy practices and the terms and conditions for which data collected will be used, shared or otherwise treated. 

Our website has the ability to collect employer information for job orders, and also to collect employee information regarding employment placement.  This information is kept confidential AT ALL TIMES.  All information received is viewed only by internal Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. employees and kept locked in file cabinets.  Information is never released without the explicit consent of the candidate or employer.  Our website does not utilize the collection of or setting of cookies to obtain information. 

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. will not collect information regarding gender, age, or social insurance numbers through our website.  This information may be required at a later date through an intake appointment with our office for employment placement and payroll purposes only.  It will be kept strictly confidential in our payroll records, which are locked in a cabinet as well.  This information will not be released to any outside companies, agencies, or persons AT ANY TIME. 

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. does not sell, trade, or release information or personal data to third party organizations or affiliates.  Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. also retains employer confidentiality AT ALL TIMES.  Contact names, departments or information pertaining to the identity of any company WILL NOT be released without the explicit consent of the company.   

Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc. will retain information obtained for as long as the candidate or client utilizes our services.  For temporary or contract candidates, this will mean that we will retain all candidate information provided as long as they remain registered with or through Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc.  We shall also retain the same information for a period of seven years thereafter.  For permanent placement employees, we will retain candidate information for a period of seven years after their acceptance with a client company, unless instructed by the candidate to do otherwise at which time Spirit Staffing will comply with the candidate request.

If a candidate or client want to obtain access to personal information provided, they may do so in writing to Spirit Staffing & Consulting Inc.  Upon payment of a small fee to cover handling/shipping and administrative costs, we will mail a copy of personal information we have collected on our file.  If the candidate or client does not want to pay a fee, they may also pick up the information from our office.
